Sheila was born in Barcelona to Aaron and Tania Andrade on D12 Y48. At the age of 10 she was put up for adoption and moved to London. She had a very troubled childhood and her teenage years were rocky and rebellious. From an early age she confided in one boy only and soon they were inseparable. Eventually her past caught up with her and afraid to commit she became a run away bride, causing much pain and a lost friendship. After much soul searching and mostly just growing up, she tried her best to become a different person.
She has always taken competing very seriously. She wasn't sure what it was about that moment when you had to step up to the plate. When all eyes were on her in the heat of competition. Whether it was hunting down the dead or modeling in barely there lingerie for the camera, her alter ego always seemed to come out and possess her. To make her into something she wished she really was. The girl who built walls too high for any man to climb. Who hated to be seen as weak, whose youth had taught her to hurt before being hurt. A mantra she had survived on for so long. The girl who deep down inside, when alone was actually just a girl simply crying out to be loved. Just too proud to admit it. Too ashamed to seem vulnerable.
She knew it was the fact that her parents had abandoned her that caused so much upheaval in her personal life. Sending her to a strange country to live with a strange new family. It was more the fact that when she had tried to contact them as she grew older, to gain closure or even some answers, they had shut her out. It was then she learnt to hurt before being hurt. Her past still comes back to haunt her to this day, a mystery surrounding her father's death that is slow to unravel.
She has been to the dark side. Where drugs and alcohol have taken hold of her soul. Where situations had become dangerous, far from her control. She fought for survival and won.
Her marriage with Chris ended in divorce after two children and just when she thought she'd never meet anyone again, an old friend reappeared and a romance blossomed. Neil and Sheila were married, but as life would have it, soon after they were married, his plane went missing and was never found again. She stopped at nothing to find him, eventually hiring a detective to help her with little information she had, but after a year long search she had to accept that he was gone. And all the while she was falling in love with the one man who wanted to put her life together again. Zachary Carrington. It took a while for her to accept it was okay to move on and Zach and her became inseparable. Their love for each other included so many things they shared, zombie hunting, tennis, football, cooking and eventually their beautiful son, Hunter.
She had proven that there is always happiness at the end of hardship.
